Dr. Matthew Blasi

Assistant Professor of English

A two-time Pushcart nominee, Matthew publishes fiction, creative nonfiction, and literary criticism. His first novel, Sweet Muffin Ranch, was published in 2023 by Willow River Press. Matthew lives and teaches in Shreveport, Louisiana and is at work on a new novel and a critical book on contemporary Southern fiction.
