Adam Philley, holds a M.M in Choral Conducting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a B.M. in Sacred Music from Centenary College of Louisiana. While at Nebraska he conducted the All-Collegiate Chorale and the award-winning Big Red Singers. He serves as Director of Music Ministries at Broadmoor United Methodist Church in Shreveport. Adam is founder and conductor of the Prísma Vocal Ensemble, Shreveport's only semi-professional choral ensemble. Adam is Resident Music Director at the Shreveport Little Theatre and often finds time to appear on the stage as well. He serves as the auditions chair for the Louisiana Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, music coordinator for the Louisiana United Methodist Annual Conference and is Chair-Elect for the Handbell Musicians’ of America Area 6 encompassing Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama.
