Painting and decorating pet rocks with residents! We hope to be in the courtyard with picnic blankets and paints, but if the weather is bad, we will use insude.

Fundraising event for centenary Panhellenic council. Will be selling pancakes/various types of syrup in James lobby.

Northside Hall Council meets roughly every other week to discuss resident needs, advocate for desired changes, and plan programs.

Fall is here, and Southside is celebrating! Join us for a fun-filled evening with tricks, treats, music, games, bonfire ghost stories, and a costume contest!

Preview Days are a great chance for students to get a taste of the overall Centenary experience and learn more about their particular areas of interest. A typical Centenary Preview Day begins with check-in at 9 am and includes breakfast, an academic and financial aid overview, campus tour, lunch, and the chance to interact with current Centenary students and professors. The John William Corrington Award for Literary Excellence is presented annually by the English Department on behalf of the Centenary student body and faculty to an established writer who has earned the critical esteem of readers who distinguish artistic accomplishment from commercial success.

In 1991, Eudora Welty became the first recipient of the Corrington Award when she read her short story "A Worn Path" at Centenary's spring Commencement. Join us for a free poetry writing workshop! Richie Hofmann, this year's winner of the J.W. Corrington Award for Literary Excellence, will lead a generative poetry workshop in the Meadows Museum. Participants will read poems together, then draft poems inspired by their reading. No prior experience necessary. All are welcome.

Richie Hofmann is the recipient of a 2025 Guggenheim Fellowship and a 2025 Literature Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. He is the author of three books of poetry, The Bronze Arms, A Hundred Lovers, and Second Empire. He has taught poetry writing at all levels online and in person at the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, Stanford University, and the University of Chicago.
