The Thomas Kalford Ratcliff Library and Reading Room

The library is housed on the first and second floors of the Smith Building. Everyone in the Centenary community is encouraged to browse the library in person or search the database for the book that interests them. Anyone who wants a book on the second floor but is unable to reach it should contact Chris Ciocchetti, who will bring it to you. If you find inspiration in the library, let us know!
 
The Ratcliff Library and Room were established in memory of Thomas Kalford Ratcliff (1994-2021), and are freely available to everyone in the Centenary community as a source of inspiration for aspiring philosophers. Thomas was a funny, quirky, and loving person, a son who valued his relationships with family and friends. Thomas was interested in philosophy, religion, and sociology, but he was most passionate about fighting homelessness, the criminalization of poverty and race, and the many forms of oppression.
