With a close-knit campus in the heart of our community, Centenary College of Louisiana is Shreveport-Bossier City's college. At nearly 200 years old, Centenary is constantly adapting to prepare 21st century graduates for success in the arts, business, education, medicine, and a variety of other fields. It's a great time to stay here and go far.

Living Here or There

We know that Centenary students who live on campus are more engaged and generally have a more successful college experience than those who live off campus. However, the College allows students who reside in 711 and 710 zip codes at the time of admission to live off campus at the residence of a parent or guardian if they choose.

Academic Programs and Partnerships

Centenary offers 22 majors in the arts and sciences, numerous academic concentrations, a variety of pre-professional programs, and two graduate programs. Centenary has also partnered with regional universities to provide pathways for ministerial vocations, pharmacy, nursing, and law.

COVID-19 Response

Centenary has worked to provide support and resources to students, faculty, and staff throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. New guidelines have been put in place to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff for the Fall 2020 semester. Centenary faculty will prepare all courses for both in-person and remote delivery, allowing flexibility to meet a variety of needs.
