The Assistant Athletics Trainer reports to the Director of Athletics and Recreation/Director of Sports Medicine is responsible for the following:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Supervision and administration of all sports medicine operations for varsity and competitive club sport student-athletes
• Assigned sport specific responsibilities by Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer
• Prepare and maintain accurate and up to date medical records for student-athletes and monitor insurance coverage
• Educate prospective students, student-athletes, coaches, staff and others in preventative injury maintenance
• Evaluation and treatment of injuries and injury rehabilitation
• Continuous improvement to the institution’s concussion management program for new and returning student-athletes
• Budget management and organization
• Coordination and scheduling of medical coverage for practice and home & away competitions
• Serve as a liaison to doctors and other allied health professionals to deliver care to student athletes
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Recreation
• Committing to College, Department of Athletics and Recreation and NCAA rules and regulations.

As an institutional staff member actively involved with NCAA Division III prospects, student- athletes, and athletic department personnel, you are responsible to uphold all conference and NCAA rules and regulations. In accordance with NCAA bylaw 11.1, you are responsible to report any known violations and will be held accountable for any violations committed within your department.

• 2-4 years related and progressive experience in an intercollegiate athletics athletic training department or a sports medicine clinic.

The Assistant Director of Residence Life supports the overall educational experience of Centenary's students by leading one of the College's residential areas and serving as a campus Deputy Title IX Coordinator.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Serving as the live-in professional for one residential community, focused on the intentional development of students through the implementing the department’s Residential Engagement
  Model.
• Training and supervising student members of the Resident Assistant staff.
• Mentoring students and contributing to the development of student leaders.
• Advising student groups, including but not necessarily limited to a Hall Council.
• Working collaboratively with faculty and providing primary staff support to one or more faculty-directed living-learning communities, if in the residential area.
• Living on campus and participating in central staff duty rotation.
• Serving as a student conduct hearing officer.
• Serving as Title IX Investigator, filling adjudicative, administrative, compliance, educational, investigative, and/or other roles, as needed.
• Plan and implement campus bystander training and intervention programming.
• Accessible and reachable by telephone or text message at times other than College business hours for the purpose of emergencies after hours and on weekends.
• Other related administrative functions, projects, duties, and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises student members of the Resident Assistant staff.

The Director of Student involvement leads a comprehensive student involvement program; manages social, developmental, and educational activities and facilities that engage students, faculty and staff; advises student leaders and student organizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Trains and supervises the Assistant Director of Student Involvement and a large staff of student employees
• Mentors students and works closely with student leaders
• Plans and implements new student SOAR and Orientation programs, working collaboratively with Admissions and other staff and directing a team of student mentors
• Provides leadership and education for faculty and professional staff advisors of student organizations.
• Plans, supervises, and attends social, developmental, and/or educational programs and activities for students and helps to coordinate campus-wide events such as Homecoming, Welcome Week, and Senior Week.
• Coordinates a system of more than 50 registered student clubs and organizations
  • Oversees the administration of the online Engage portal
• Assists the Vice-President for Student Affairs program operations and logistics for the Centenary in Paris program
• Oversees budgets for student involvement, new student programming, union programming, the Centenary Activities Board, and Fraternity and Sorority Life.
• Advises the Centenary Activities Board
• Indirectly supervise Fraternity and Sorority Life, overseeing recruitment, providing leadership development and training for student leaders and advisors, managing conduct and conflict resolution, and working closely with the Inter-fraternity, Panhellenic, and National Pan-Hellenic
  Councils and Order of Omega
• Supervises the Campus Information Center and college switchboard.
• Oversees Moore Student Union Building maintenance, operations, and improvements.
• Implements leadership training opportunities and programs for students and advisors of student organizations
• Approve campus events for Passport Points credit, allowing undergraduate students to earn up to $2,000 toward educational international travel by attending campus events
• Serves on committees and additional projects, duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the Assistant Director of Student Involvement. Directly or indirectly supervises all interns and student workers related to Orientation, student activities, the information center, and student union operations, including managers for the Student Union Building.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Head Coach of Men's Soccer will direct and coordinate the planning, organizing and coaching of the intercollegiate Men’s Soccer program with ancillary coaching or administrative responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible and accountable for recruiting and retaining a minimum roster of 24 student-athletes in accordance with Centenary College and NCAA policy guidelines.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the personal and athletics development of student athletes at Centenary College.
• Arranges and organizes yearly competition schedules.
• Over 25 percent travel time required to attend SCAC and NCAA meetings, conferences, and training seminars, as well as traveling to support team competitions and recruiting.
• Must be accessible and reachable by telephone or text message at times other than College business hours for the purpose of team member contact and recruiting purposes for texting or calling recruits after school hours..
• Must have access to mobile computing outside of the office for recruitment of student-athletes by accessing databases for contact information and adding information, scouting, travel arrangements, budget management and to maintain constant contact with the NCAA, SCAC, scouting information, and team data.
• Schedules, organizes, and supervises practices in compliance with College and NCAA rules.
• Ensures that athletic venue is properly set-up for practices and official athletic competition including all upkeep of the soccer field and wind screens.
• Counsel team members in academic, disciplinary and personal matters; consult with College administration and faculty for resolution of problems as needed.
• Direct and coordinate activities, ensuring compliance with College, Conference, and NCAA policies and regulations.
• Maintain control of college-issued credit card and submit timely reimbursement requests with accompanying support documentation.
• Work with the Director of Athletics and Athletic Department Assistant to develop and monitor annual budgets.
• Actively participates within the institution’s Division of Student Development.
• Works in cooperation with the Director of Athletics and will have significant ancillary responsibility such as: compliance, event management, assistant coaching in sport, outdoor fields maintenance or sports information.
• Supports the Development Office’s efforts to raise money for the Centenary Fund for Student Athletics.
• Monitoring of Athletic facilities as assigned by Athletic Director
• This position may require night and weekend hours.
• Other related projects, duties and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary.

Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a Library Access Assistant. This position offers progressive, hands-on experience in reference services, basic and intermediate systems maintenance, and supervision of student workers, and is intentionally structured to scaffold the growth of individuals who may be new to academic librarianship, providing supported opportunities to develop mastery in core academic library tools and services.

Basic functions include facilitating access to Centenary College’s JF Magale Memorial Library for students, faculty, and staff members, with shared responsibility for evening student worker supervision in consultation with librarians. This position is vital to daily library operations with a strong emphasis on customer service and data collection. This is a full-time, 12-month appointment within the division of Academic Affairs, reporting to the Library Director.

Primary duties
The Library Access Assistant

• Facilitates access to Magale Library and its resources for Centenary students, faculty, and staff.
• Serves as primary library officer during hours when librarians are not present.
• Provides coverage of the front desk and performs other library tasks when needed.
• In coordination with librarians, develops and oversees special projects for student workers.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, student worker related jobs when librarians are not present.
• Undergoes training in managing an integrated library services platform, reference work, information literacy instruction, and website management.
• Collaboratively trains and supervises student workers in basic library functions.
• Troubleshoots ILS problems with patron check outs or record data problems.
• Troubleshoots photocopiers, micro-form machines and vending machines.
• Aids in the search for lost books, processing and distribution of gift books and book repairs.
• In addition, the Library Access Assistant will collect, update, and analyze library usage statistics in consultation with the director, and may perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Interest in and understanding of the value of libraries.
• Good organizational skills.
• Self-motivated work ethic.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Flexibility and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience at a selective, private, residential, liberal arts college.
• Tutoring or teaching experience.
• Work experience in a library or bookstore.

The Hurley School of Music at Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a visiting assistant professor or tenure-track position at the assistant professor of music rank beginning August 2026. We seek an artist-teacher with a terminal degree in music with a specialty in piano. The successful candidate
will demonstrate a record of excellence in performing, a strong commitment to student-centered pedagogy, and skills to recruit and mentor a culturally diverse body of students.

This role includes teaching major and non-major applied piano; collaborative piano, piano pedagogy, and piano literature on a rotational schedule; accompanying as needed; and may also include first- and second-semester theory courses, music history, music appreciation, and other general music or interdisciplinary courses. As the primary full-time piano faculty member, the successful candidate will also manage accompanist assignments for various vocal and instrumental students as needed. The position also provides the opportunity to develop courses tailored to the candidate’s interests, which may include immersive study abroad. Centenary fosters a collaborative and interdisciplinary teaching environment, and encourages faculty to contribute to integrative coursework and scholarship that spans traditional academic boundaries.
